The OVYFL is a youth football league that is now a exact replica of the high schools football conference that they play in. The OVYFL with memebers from Northwest, Talawanda, Edgewood, Ross and Harrison communities. Our players will have now competed against each other from their youth days all the way to their high school playing days. The rivalries that will develop will change the league and players for more competitive high school action.
The OVYFL has partnered with the GMYFC to create a concept that will change the youth football landscape in Southwest Ohio. During the 2016 season OVYFL teams will compete against the GMYFC teams. As always we will play our schedule against each other to determine a regular season champion and then have our own Superbowl for 2016. The great concept is that in the 1st round of the OVYFL playoffs the teams that didn't win their first game will move into a SuperBowl that will consist of OVYFL teams and GMYFC American teams for an GMYFC American City Championship. The OVYFL SuperBowl Champs will then face off with the GMYFC National SuperBowl Champs in a City Championship game that will be held @ Yeager Stadium on the campus of Miami of Ohio University. This partnership will allow for great competition and bring great atmosphere to the city of Cincinnati when it comes to youth football games. Here are some of the programs that compete in the GMYFC Colerain, Lakota, Princeton, Middletown, Hamilton, Oak Hills, Mason and Fairfield!
